Well Pleased
We enjoyed our stay--the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable (with the exception of the rather hard couch), and the breakfast bar was the nicest we’ve ever seen at a motel (well-supplied, good variety, well kept, etc. etc). The hotel is being rennovated, but that caused us no inconvenience.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The World War I Museum is very well done. Also Brobeck’s BBQ in Overland Park is an excellent, informal place to sample the local specialty.

Suites
We really enjoyed our stay and enjoy the suite style with the kitchen and separate bedroom. Would definitely stay there again.
