Very nice but dated
The villa was very clean and very well laid out. However, it was very dated.

Not impressed
The villa was filthy and almost everything was broken. They moved us to another villa and that was not any better. We have stayed at the Shawnee Resort in the past and it was never in bad condition before. The guest Services employees were not pleasant or accommodatiing. We had to speak to a manager there and she was very nice and professional. We love the area. It is quiet and peaceful and very easy to travel to. We reported the broken items to the front desk and maintenance and no one came to repair them In the past, maintenance came right away. I know there are cut-backs with workers everywhere, but there are none on prices that you pay to stay at these villa/homes and the quality and performance of the staff/workers definitely need improvement in attitude and workmanship.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We love the Crossing Shopping Mall in the Poconos and it is convenient. When you stay in the Villas, always bring food, and other cleaning items to save money.

great place for the family
Although it was a rainy weekend, the indoor pool was the best. We squeezed in a miniature golf game while the men went golfing. Plenty of restaurants in the area, inexpensive and the comfort was superb in the villa. Our first experience and can’t wait to do it again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The trolley was great for all ages. Shopping at the outlets was fun. Wanted to get to the casino, but unable to, but it is close to shawnee. Don’t waste your time at Odd Lot. Big ad but cheap bargains you can get anywhere.
