in the process of remodeling -- no carpet in hallways. i wouldn’t care so much about this, but there was nothing to dampen the noise. clerk was great, but otherwise this motel was overpriced, and i would rate it no more than a one star.

there aren’t really any nice hotels in marshalltown so i don’t think you’re going to do a whole lot better than this hotel. it’s close to applebees and walmart and a short drive to the casino.
