Extremely Impressed
The view of the Pocono Ski Slopes was simply awesome. Everyone was so friendly. I didn’t want to leave. The children especially enjoyed the swimming pool. This will become an annual trip and yes, we will stay at the Chateau!

A great weekend get a way
We recently spent a weekend at the Chataeu Resort and Conference Center and loved the hotel and the staff. The hotel was very clean, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our balcony room provided us with a lovely view of the mtn and of the pond with swans and ducks swimming. Even though it was a bit cold, we sat on the balcony for a time to enjoy the beautiful view. This hotel is near the area Outlets and the Mt Airy casino. Although we didn’t win big at the casino we did find some great bargins at the outlet and now have checked off a few gifts for Christmas shopping. There is alot to enjoy at this hotel, even if you aren’t a winter sports fan!
I would recommend stopping at the outlets while in the area. They have many stores and such a variety - a great place to get started on the Christmas shopping list.

Overpriced
We got a "shoppers package" which included breakfast but only for 2 guest. Being a family of 4 meant that we had to pay for our childrens breakfast. I thought this was one reason that made it second rate. I’m sure this dated hotel was a great hotel decades ago but now it was a little overpriced for a September stay. I’m sure it’s better in the winter when the snow is the main focus
