Good value
The location of this hotel was perfect - it was only two blocks from the main street and three blocks fromt the Esplanade. The room was spacious and clean.

Tropical Rainforest
The blue swimming pool with rock waterfall and palm trees all around is beautiful! Pool snack and drink bar was convienent while spending time around and in the pool. Thank goodness for the air conditioners in the room because it was hot and humid outside and in the hallways! We were disappointed that there was no central internet access service and no ATM working in the hotel.I also asked for an additional bedspread or blanket so I could make a bed on the floor for my 13-year-old daughter (who kicks too much at night to share a bed with). They sent up a crib blanket. Location was great for walking into the shopping district and the best part is that we met some wonderful people while relaxing around the pool.
Traveler's tip on shopping
The town center is set up for tourist shopping with everyone hawking similar merchandise. The people at the aboriginal shop were so nice. I purchased a painting from the artist who was painting the canvas design outside the shop as shoppers watched.
