Great service - cleaning crew needs retraining
Usually Courtyard hotels are well run and kept up. Grounds, hallways, breakfast areas all look great - but it has a little wear and tear in places. Main two issues were: 1. hair stuck to back shower stall wall was not cleaned off in the 3 days we stayed there. 2. Air conditioners were VERY loud! We had to shut ours off so we could sleep. One other issue was the side door push bar for opening the door looked like it was ready to fall off. On the plus side - staff at breakfast were extremely service oriented, pool was fun for the kids and staff at front desk were terrific. We’ll probably look for a different hotel in the area with a quieter AC unit.

Convenient Location
We found the hotel to be conveniently located to major roads and easily accessible to Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington, as well as many chain restaurants. The pool and courtyard area were pleasant. The wireless internet did not work in our room and when we requested help, were given an 800 # to call a support line -- it did not work.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We purchased the buffet breakfast for 2 for an extra $10/day, which ended up being a 2 for 1 savings. The buffet was excellent and well supplied.
