For the price it was a good value. It was clean. safe and up to date

Better than expected
From pictures and other reviews I expected the hotel to be older and slightly run down. Granted the hotel isn’t extremely new, I was still very impressed by it. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The pool area was great. The hot tub and spa were also well kept. In addition, the breakfast bar in the morning had lots of options (bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, waffles, juice, fruit, etc.) that were all well stocked. I would go back to this hotel again.

Great accommodations
We were up-graded to a room with a microwave & refrigerator. Having a hot tub & pool and full breakfast was great.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
September to mid-October (best mid-Sept) don’t miss Hawk Ridge.....raptors & other birds fly over Hawk Ridge as they migrate south. Depending on the wind direction, you can see LOTS or a few birds. Nice hiking, too.
