Nice stay, despite the name confusion

Overall, a good stay, despite being awoken at 6.30am and 6.45am on a Sunday morning with wakeup calls we never ordered. I called the front desk and was told a baseball team was staying there under the coach’s name - which happened to be the same as ours - and had ordered the calls for his team, which was staying under his name. The mgr also thought were were checking out that day, too, and knocked on our door later asking why we hadn’t checked out. The buffet breakfast is excellent, the hotel on a lovely hilltop, very clean and modern.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

Right next to PNC Field, home of the NY Yankees AAA team. Also a huge strip mall with restaurants and movie theatre right up the road.

Nicely placed between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, convient to PNC Field

Nice helpful staff, and was even greeted with a smile at an 11pm check in. Room was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. If you are planning to see the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees or other Montage events the hotel is nicely located, less than a mile from PNC Field. Only drawbacks during stay - 1)Found 2 water bottles and a pair of ladies underwear in the dresser upon check into the room. Staff appologized and offered complimentary breakfast. 2)Towel supply at pool always seemed lacking, used pool three times, had to ask for more towels each time because there was none on the rack. 3)Unfortunately had a rather loud wedding party staying at same time, staff tried best to keep under control, but the post reception 3am yelling in the hallways was a bit much (should have kicked out, was informed group had signed ’no party’ agreement) 4)Parking lot is easy to get into, not so to get out. Facility is half-way up a hill on a curve, it’s a bit blind trying to turn left out of the parking lot; during normal hours, it’s not bad, game days however, you may be there a while after the game ends. Even with all that I still feel comfortable ranking at a 4 out of 5 and would probably stay there again

The Professional Staff make the stay worthwhile

This hotel was standard. They were renovating so we had to navigate around upgrades. The staff members were all very helpful and kind and providing exceptional service. They made the stay very positive.
