Good Location Disgraceful Room
The location of the hotel was good. We walked out the door and across the park and it is convenient to underground transportation. However, while breakfast was included, there was a 30 to 45 minute wait for a table each morning . Saving the worst for last, we were given the absolute worst hotel in the room. There were three rooms at the bottom of the hotel, just below ground level, involving two flights of steps below the reception area -- no elevator. One of those rooms - ours - had a window which was blocked by the hotel garbage bins. The hoise of the garbage going and the laundry coming and going made it impossible to sleep past the very early hours of the morning. That room should not be rented.

Corus Hyde Park Oct 2009
The hotel is really good and the location is one of the best. The room size is Tiny, i have never seen a such a small room but i guess that is the speciality of London. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at reception is great. swift check in and check out. Oxford Street is a 10 minute walf from the hotel.
Traveler's tip
The hotel is very close to Lancaster Gate Tube station which is on Central Line (Red Line) however if you want to take Circle Line (Yellow Line) which goes to major stations and attraction, Bays water station is also on a walking distance though it may loo far on Map.

London rules and the Corus Hyde Park isnt bad either
Elegant hotel in fabulous location with great breakfast and view of Hyde Park. Shame the rooms are so small - no room for the luggage and claustrophobic. Use coin operated internet in the reception, connection in the room far too expensive. Its about time all hotel rooms came with free wifi. What is the problem? Lots of inexpensive eating places and pubs within two blocks of the hotel. So much to do and see in London - impossible not to enjoy.
