In the event that a hurricane directly hits any Palace Resort while guests are at the resort, the hotel will provide a certificate for a return stay to the original resort for the number of original nights. A certificate will be offered if the U.S. National Weather Center issues a Category One Hurricane warning or higher to the area and the hurricane directly hits any Palace Resort. The certificate is nontransferable and not redeemable for cash. Space is subject to availability and blackout periods apply. The policy excludes day of departure. This policy is for individual travel and groups booked through this Web site. This policy is subject to change or may be discontinued without notice.

General Information
Amenity highlights: The resort has three pools with swim-up bars, including two on the rooftop. Spa facilities include 10 treament rooms, a sauna, steam bath, and a couples' suite. A kids' club offers supervised daily activities; a children's pool is available.
Insider tip: As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, guests may use facilities, restaurants, and bars at eight partner resorts: Cancún Palace and Sun Palace on Cancún Island; at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort south of Cancún Island; and at Xpu-Há Palace and Aventura Spa Palace on the Riviera Maya south of Cancún; Playacar Palace; Cozumel Palace; and Isla Mujeres Palace. The resort features two rooftop pools and an additional outdoor pool. A scuba-diving demonstration is included in the room rate. Children can enjoy supervised activities at the Kids Club.
An independent operator with a desk at the resort offers parasailing (surcharge) on the beach and scuba-diving instruction (surcharge) in a dive pool and the swimming pool. Other independent operators rent personal watercraft on the beach. AquaWorld's main center, a marina located 3 km (1.75 mi) away on Nichupté Lagoon, offers a variety of water sports, including parasailing, personal watercraft, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling that are not part of the All-Inclusive Plan and must be paid for separately.
Two independently operated 18-hole golf courses are located on Cancún Island. The Pok-Ta-Pok course 4.5 km (2.75 mi) from the resort, and the Hilton course is 5.5 km (3.5 mi).
