Simple, great location and nice staff
Great location in old town. It is a simple hotel. If you’re looking for a 5 star, this isn’t it. But if you’ve traveled at all, you’ll find this is a pleasant hotel. Staff try very hard to please. I travel regularly to PV and on this trip I was there for 3 days on business. I needed a hotel with good location and clean. This fit the bill and I will stay there again when I want a simple, pleasant hotel.

Don’t think I will return!
I was unhappy with guest services. I wish I had known this hotel was not the regular Los Arcos. I thought it was on the beach and not a couple blocks down. Pool and courtyard were unkept and not very inviting. Thankfully we were allowed to use the pool at Los Arcos by the beach! That’s where I may stay next time! Pretty courtyard, on the beach and a spa! It was close to Zona Romantica, so walking was an option.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Don’t think I would recommend this hotel. The front desk girl we had on a couple nights was not the most pleasant. The young lady on my last night was the only nice one. Too bad it was on the day of my check out.

Great Value!
The room was very spacious with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. The weather was very hot and humid but the two air conditioners in the room were more than sufficient as we slept with one of them off. The best thing about the hotel is it’s location; very close to the beach and many great places to eat and drink within walking distance. Andales Bar is right next door and that is a favorite among PV partiers. If you want to see your favorite college or pro team, Steve’s is just a few blocks away and another fun place. Most of the cab drivers in the area speak some english but negotiate prices before leaving for your destination. The overall experience at Los Arcos Suites was great and plan on staying there on our next visit.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We took a fantastic day tour to Yelapa and traveled like the locals. Take the bus right on the corner by Steve’s Bar to BOCA. It takes about 30 minutes and cost $0.50. In Boca, there are many water taxi’s that will take you to Yelapa for about $10-12. There were also several nice beaches before Yelapa that they will take you to but the half hour boat ride was great. We will definately make this part of every trip to PV.
