Heavenly....
Westin Hotels are always among the best, and their beds are truly "heavenly". But the Westin in Palo Alto is especially nice, because it is not too big. The staff recognize you when you come down to get your car, and they call you by name when you return from being out for several hours. That personal service is something we don’t find at many hotels these days.
Traveler's tip on shopping
The Stanford Shopping Center is very close to the Palo Alto Westin, and is one of the nicest shopping centers I’ve had the pleasure to visit.

Very quiet and comfortable
The hotel was extremely comfortable. The double shower head was a surprise and a delight. The bedding was exceptional and the concierge service was helpful and polite.
