Mediocre Hotel
There are a lot of mid priced hotels in this part of Buenos Aires, and I’m sure we could have picked better. The front desk staff was courteous but rather clueless about goings on in town. The two rooms we booked were cheaply furnished and one smelled of cigarette smoke. The kitchens were very functional and well equipped. Only one of the two rooms had the printed hotel materials, mini bar menu etc. Even after four days, this hadn’t been fixed. Breakfast was a decent spread each morning.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
The area around this hotel, known as Retiro, is not the greatest part of BA after dark. Narrow streets, not lots of restaurants. La Recoleta, Puerto Madero and Palermo have way more going on.

Very nice facilities .. exelent service ... well located ... all means of transport available and close to the hotel ... reasonable room rates ... you would not regret to stay there

Yes to Loisuites Esmeralda
I have stayed at this hotel during 2 different trips. I stay in the suites/apartments with 2 bedrooms & small kitchen. The rooms are comfortable and a great prics.

Centrely located & only a couple blocks from the Galleria shopping center & pedestrian shopping mall.

Not fancy but very decent
This Loi Suites hotel was plain, with little decorating in the rooms, but quiet and clean, with paint and carpeting all looking fairly new. (The Loi Suites in Recoleta looks more upscale.) Staff was helpful, though not front desk spoke English, and they serve a very decent cold breakfast buffet. Location is excellent if you are interested in exploring Microcentro or Retiro; walking distance to many attractions.
Traveler's tip
Very few businesses take credit cards, so you find yourself paying cash for almost everything. ATMs are only in bank lobbies, & you are limited to 300 pesos per each withdrawal, 3 withdrawals max per day, or $300 cash per day, not much. Avoid 100 peso notes because change is also in short supply.

Great small hotel
Staff friendly and very helpful arranging tours, calling cabs, responding to our needs, etc. Good breakfast and quiet as room faced away from street. Convieniently located and the price was great.

Great service
While I had a couple issues dealing with the maintenance of the hotel such as air conditioning, tv, and internet outages my overall stay was enjoyable. The staff was very responsive to the issues above and resolved them quickly.

comfy and excellent location
This hotel was comfortable and clean. We stayed on the first floor so it was a bit noisy since the walls were thin and could hear practically everything. Maybe an upper level room would have been better. Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a great location as we practically walked everywhere!

Resulted better than expected, Great Location!!
It is a small hotel with a great location near by Florida walking street, San Martin square and Galerias Pacifico Shopping Center. Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms, which is great for a demanding traveler like me :). There were 2 downsides: the breakfast quality was very poor and there were a construction in the next building and no one could from the hotel did stop the noise in the mornings, so we woke up very early every day.

Can’t wait to go back
The hotel location is excellent since you are very close to Calle Florida, Ave. Sta.Fe and walking distance to everything. Service is excellent and breakfast is very tasty!

Great for a large group of people
The people were nice and helpful for many attractions. Went to a Tango Dinner, Soccer game, and it was near the main strip for shopping.
