Just an average hotel... Nothing fancy nothing but plain... Good value

Too much mechanical noise in the rooms. Building may be under repair.

Nice new lobby but the rooms are still under renovation and noisy.

My Boston Trip

Have preferred this hotel during my recent sight seeing trip to Boston as it was affordable and had an indoor swimming pool. Very happy with the hotel. The swimming pool was superb which was open till 11 PM from 7 AM. The breakfast provided was fine and the staff very courteous. I particularly liked the swimming pool.

Filthy & Run down.

I chose Days Inn because my experiences with this chain in the past has been pleasant. Clean rooms, nice beds & bedding ect. This particular hotel REALLY needs work, it is in a very run down condition on the outside. Rooms need updated, beds were very uncomfortable, bedding left a lot to be desired, carpets were horribly filthy dirty, (would’nt have dared to walk bare foot in the room) bath tub had some sort of black markings like tire rubber tracks. Parking lot is excessivly lit up at night, so with any room facing the parking lot it’s like trying to sleep in bright daylight (obviously no blackout drapes.

Safe hotel, decent price

I usually stop here when overnighting on my way south through VA. It’s consistantly decent quality, with a low price, allows pets for a trivial fee, has free breakfast & a really good coffee place near by for fueling up in the am with dark roast.

Had Roaches

We stayed one night for Apple Blossom. We arrived, checked in (Lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful). We put our bags in the room and left for the parade. We came back around 10:30pm, starting getting ready for bed. I layed down and was watching the tv and spotted a roach crawling around on the wall. We called the front desk. When presented with the problem they were not very nice. She said they didn’t have any other rooms but to come down to the front desk. We got to the front desk and she said they just cleaned us up a room. She said they couldn’t give us our money back and all other hotels were full (she was not very nice). We went to the room they just cleaned for us. It wasn’t very clean there were chips in my bed. I am glad I brought my own blanket because I would not sleep under those covers. We took the keys back to them in the morning and they slapped a bug up on the desk and said this isn’t a roach it is a stink bug. They have roaches and stink bugs then because we saw a roach. They shouldn’t have any crawling around the walls of the room. The storage room door was open when we arrived and it looked awful. Empty beer bottles laying around, stuff all over the place and filthy. We saw bugs crawling all over the stairs but that wasn’t our problem the problem was the bugs in our room. They get nasty when presented with a problem. We told them we would never stay there again and they told us good we don’t want you to.

Comfortable stay, good value

This was a comfortable stay and, considering the price was the lowest I could find online, I was pleasantly surprised that the room also had a refrigerator. A good value, and I will certainly be back!

Decent price, hotel rooms were simular to prison cells

I had looked up this hotel previously to staying here and many of the reviews compared the rooms to dark prison cells. The reviews were a bit of an exaggeration. I did agree that they were a bit dark and dreary on the inside. The hotel room was clean. The staff was very polite. It is conveniently located. But the rooms and the hotel in general was very old. The rooms need remodeling. The doors needed paint and the walls new wallpaper. The beds could have been more comfortable. Our room was attached to another that had people in and out of it all night long which sounded like they were going to come right into ours. I suppose that added to our night not being so pleasant. And this hotel has outside rooms, which for me is not my favorite, but some might prefer the convenience.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

There are plenty of restaurants nearby this hotel, within 1-2 miles. However if you are looking for class, this area, and this hotel might not be your best bet. If you are looking for somewhere to crash for the night that is not the "Flea Dip Inn" and is reasonably priced this is a fair bet.

Pleasantly Surprised

We booked this hotel based on the Expedia reviews. The staff was friendly, the room clean, the beds comfortable and the facility in good repair. We will stay here again.

Good for an overnight stopover

Other than a slightly funny smell when walking into the room (probably from the air conditioner - we didn’t notice it at all later) and less water pressure in the shower than I would have preferred (still adequate, though), this was a perfectly comfortable stay. Everything was in good condition and the staff were friendly. Definitely good value for the price.

Some good some bad

The room was fairly clean but with 3 of us there for 2 nights they didn’t have enough towels and was hard to get from the cleaning lady. The pool was nice to sit by but it had a ring around it like a dirty bathtub. Very disturbing since it was in the high 90’s when we stayed there and the water would have been nice and refreshing. The desk clerk was very nice and very helpful and accomidating and the breakfast was nice for something quick to eat and go.

Would Retrun

Hotel staff was friendly and complied to all requests made for extra’s in room. Pool was clean and well maintained. No pool towels, you have to use the ones out of your room or go to front desk to get some extras. Also, stayed on 2nd floor and they have no elevator for strollers so you have to hike it up the steps. Seemed there were many construction workers there long term but they were quiet. Overall would stay again, good deal and easy off interstate for the price.

If you have small children call to request 1st floor after booking, map of hotel does not show all stairwells, there are several but, hidden behind bushes, so don’t go by the map provided to your room.

Good for pets

Hotel has big backyard area for our dog to roam around. Hotel put guests with pets in the back on the first floor for their convenience. Only problem: problem with temperature control in room.

Great price...

for the money. It was a quick stop and was a great price. Clean and comfortable. Would use again...

Quiet Friendly Place in Winchester

Convenient to everything in Winchester just off Rt. 11, and close to I81. Very comfy bed and pillows. Came with small fridge & microwave, super fast internet, and continental breakfast in the lobby.

Antiques and Local artists paintings in quaint shop on Picadilly near the old train station that you should check out.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and extensive.

Have stayed here before the rennovation. Only a portion of the rooms are new. The old ones are not worth the money.

Pleasantly surprised!

Great motel. It was very clean and the desk staff were very pleasant and efficient! Pleased to see that a portion of the motel is pet-friendly (although I did not use this feature on this trip).

Great for the price.

I stayed with my 2 year old grandson for 4 nights. It was convienent to everything I needed. The pool was nice and clean and the employees were friendly. I will definately stay here again.

Price is right. Facility is newly renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. You have a frig and a microwave in room. A good motel.

Satisfactory

While traveling home, all my family wanted was a clean, comfortable place to break our trip. This hotel provided that. We wanted nothing more, although if we had wanted, there was a nice pool which we could have used.
