Much larger and well appointed "suite" than I expected for just a room rate.

Had a problem, Staff touch care of it PRONTO
When we checked in, our room was not up to par with what we had expected, it was not clean, broken furniture, ect. When we went to talk to the concierge, he took care of it right then! He upgraded our room to a jacuzzi suite and turned out to be very helpful in all of our honeymoon adventures. It was a joy to stay there. The pool is clean as well as the common jacuzzi. The free breakfast is great, hot and cold as promised and the dining worker was a real pleasure to visit with. Our housekeeper was a wonderful woman that told us about her marriage of 32 yrs as we sat on the sofa while she made up our room. IF we needed anything, all we had to do was ask! It was a great honeymoon! We would recommend this hotel to anyone! Business or pleasure, it is a delightful place!
Traveler's tip
To save a few dollars, ask up front for the best deals in town, they know them! And gave us coupons. If you show your room key at Applebees you get a 10% discount, which btw, is just down the street. We walked. We got coupons to all attractions at Riverfront park and to Silverwood. Again, a great place to stay!

Not impressed
The hotel itself was fine for the price. The room was not clean. The bar fridge had 1" thick Ice on it. There was so much ice build up that the freezer door fell off. The coffee pot was dirty. The dresser drawers had dirt in them. The carpet was not well maintained. Lots of dirt behind the night tables. The blanket on the bed had 3 large dirty marks or stains on it. The service was good and they did get us a new one. The bathroom was clean. The free breakfast was excellent.
