Exactly what we expected of Holiday Inn Express!
The staff was great, the breakfast much better than other similar hotels. They also suggested some awesome restaurants. Proximity to Leavenworth was great as well. Stay here if you’re going to Wenatchee/Leavenworth!
Traveler's tip on dining
Applewood Grill restaurant in Wenatchee was the best on our trip. Be sure to get the Caprese Salad.

Great place to relax
When we checked in we went to our room and someone had obviously smoked in it. The hotel has a non-smoking policy and signs. The person working the front desk quickly found us another room and it actually was better for us anyway. The hotel is right off I-5. Easy to find and get where you need to go. Lots of fast food and other restaurants close by. We were attending a soccer tournament and an overnight was optional as far as travel distance. Other team members stayed there as well and the girls who stayed over used the pool as we did. The coach and mgr organized a quick lunch in the hotel for the team and parents. The staff obliqued us. We got extra towels and I forgot my toothbrush so we were able to get one from the front desk. It was nice to have a quick breakfast before the girls morning game on Sunday. I wished that they had offered more fruit. Only saw apples and oranges. A few bananas or grapes would be good. They had scrambled eggs but I would have liked a boiled egg. They had yoghurt and juice which is what I had. overall it worked out for us. The hotel didn’t seem extremely full so it was fairly quiet and a relaxing place to stay.
Traveler's tip on dining
the hotel is right next to Arby’s. Several other fast food restaurants are across the street. Las Margaritas is on the other side of I-5.

Very friendly staff and outstanding service
When we arrived, lemonade was waiting for us in the lobby. IN the evening, cookies and milk or coffee were available for 2 hours. The staff was very accomodating and anxious to make our stay the best experience.
