budget stay
still very creaky hotel, but it is priced right and staff is fine

Not impressed
While the staff was pleasant, the room had an overwhelming odor of bleach - as if they’d be combating a mold problem. We asked for and received another room and it smelled the same so we opted to keep our original room. It was for only one night but should we travel to Marinette again we will be staying @ a different hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
Brother’s Three Pizza which is in the middle of downtown right on 41 had awesome pizza and very pleasant service. Would definitely recommend.

Wouldn’t stay again
I wouldn’t stay at the Comfort Inn again. Rooms were small, very dated and poorly maintained (gouges in walls poorly covered with mismatched paint, peeling laminate, etc.). Strange smell apparent from the minute we walked in: kind of a musty humidity/hotel air freshener/cigarette smoke combination. Staff isn’t used to working with Expedia so check-in took longer than usual. Complimentary breakfast very meager with surly waitstaff and offered during more limited hours than usual.
