Confortable, Clean, Quiet.
My trip to Macon, Ga. was to attend the Georgia state, Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally. I have nothing but high marks for the "Macon Days Inn". Very confortable room, I would stay there again.

Would not recommend
We had already purchased our stay from Expedia and arrived late at night, or we would have turned around and found another place. From the exit, most of the establishments had grills over their windows or were dark. Many places were run down/ boarded off. The hotel was listed as pet friendly but did not mention a pet fee. We were told about this on arrival. I felt they should have had the courtesy to disclose a pet fee on Expedias listing and their specific hotel website. The carpet was a musty, miniature golf green. It was clearly old and probably rarely shampooed. I was appalled to have my almost 2 yo child there at all. The high speed internet access was temperamental (and apparently not accessible from every room). The decor and linens were a throw back to the 80s; pink salmon sheets that were rough to touch. The person who checked me out was also the woman cleaning the rooms. She did not apologize for making me wait and was extremely rude. There was a glass (bullet proof?) window separating the teller from the customer at check out. Very scary. I felt this particular hotel brought down my impression of their parent company greatly.
This is not a place I would allow any child to be. The neighborhood seemed unsafe. The floor was not clean enough for a child to crawl or walk barefoot on.
