Great service at a good price
The front desk staff greated you with a smile and made you feel at home. Had goodie bags for my sons with a cookie and bottled water. For a moderately priced hotel, the experience could not have been any better. The rooms were nicer and cleaner than some hotels at twice the price.

Drive a few miles into Downtown New Bern, very nice.

A Nice Hotel
The hotel did experience a problem with its elevator for the first night that we stayed. It was, however, operational the following morning. Some of the food in the breakfast bar was cold, most notably the eggs.

Don’t go out of your way
Overall, the hotel was good. There is, however, a lack of hotel security. I went to bed at 10:30, and by 12:30, there was a hall party going on. I will never even consider staying there again.
