Comfort Suites - New Braunfels

Nice comfortable place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. A real benefit to us was the 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa.

Stayed to Toob

My friends and I got a room here for Saturday night. We drove to New Braunfels from Austin and wanted to check in early so we could drop our bags in our room instead of leaving them in the vehicle while we toobed. I had called ahead asking if we could check in early and was told to call back. We arrived at the hotel around noon. The lady at the counter told us there were no rooms available because they hadn’t been cleaned. I explained that we just needed to leave our bags so we could toob without worrying about theft, but she said they were not equipped to check bags and we were out of luck. I kept insisting that she contact housekeeping and have them clean a room. She went to the office and came out saying that she did, in fact, have one room available. We were able to check in and leave our bags, but only due to my persistence. Clearly, the staff did not want to go out of their way in the least to assist us. The breakfast food was not very good either. This hotel unfortunately can overcharge guests because there are not enough places to stay to accomodate the amount of tourists in the summer. Try to plan ahead so you can get more for your money.

Plan at least 3 months ahead to get better accomodations for your money.

Nice hotel

We stayed here on the way down to San Antonio and it was a great place. Everything was great and no complaints. Easy on/off freeway. Would stay there again.
