Embassy Suites Detroit/Livonia - maintenance challenged
This hotel was once a very nice facility in a great locatation. Unfortunately, the maintenance has not been fully kept up. The elevators were scary...one was out of service and the other had problems with slippage. We stayed on the 5th floor and decided to walk most of the time. The rooms are nice, but the carpet seemed worn and dirty, as did the windows. The breakfast (comes with the room) was very good, but the dining area was too small for the crowd. The hotel had many teens and tweens at this weekend, and the staff had a tough time keep the dining area clean.

Convenient, Clean, and Comfortable
Enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. On site services met all needs. A bit of a trip from the airport, cabs being expensive. Otherwise, nice choice and I would stay there again.
