YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
WHEN OTHER HOTELS ARE CHARGING $150 PER NIGHT THIS ONE WAS $80. THE POOL WAS DISGUSTING WITH HAIR BUGS AND LEAVES FLOATING IN WATER THAT HAD WAY TOO MUCH CLORINE IN IT. THE ROOMS SMELL BAD, LIKE SMOKERS. THE BATHROOMS HAD HAIRS IN THE TUB - YUCK. BUT IF YOURE HERE FOR JUST A SHORT TIME, OR JUST ONE NIGHT LIKE ALL THE CONTRACTORS IN THE ROOMS AROUND US, YOULL BE JUST FINE.

DISGUSTING
Disgusting. The pool was nasty - my 10 year old kid who would jump in a swamp refused to get in. Hair and bugs floating in the water - the pump obvously wasnt working. The other guests wrote about a dripping from the air conditioner over ours and now I know what they mean. The room stunk - smelled like my teenage boys room. The maid came every day while I was there but the room wasnt really cleaned. The toilet almost overflowed on us too. I asked for a plunger and fixed it myself. I stayed here last minute because it was the only room available - In retrospect I should have stayed somewhere else even if it was farther from the beach.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Food Lion down the street is a good place to save money on food if you have kids. The rooms here did have a mirowave and a fridge so you can save some money.

I will never stay at this hotel again. During my 3 day stay at this hotel, my room was cleaned once. On the first day, the maid only threw the bedspeads back across the top of the beds without making them, and simply placed 2 clean towels on the sink without any vacuuming or trash removal. On the second day there was NO maid service and I had to take my dirty towels to the desk for clean ones, obviously there was NO trash removal OR vacuuming OR making the beds. The air conditioner from the upper floor dripped constantly on the top of the unit I was staying in, which was like having a very loud leaking faucet right outside my window. My reservation consisted of 2 rooms. The second room had a toilet overflow that was NOT due to it being used. It just spewed all over the floor for no reason and at least they cleaned it up. I made my complaints to the Front Desk initially on the second day and then again during checking out, and even took them their own "100% Guarantee or well make it right" brouchere with me. All they would do is say "Im sorry, the maid is new." I was expecting something more substantial, and was not even allowed to talk with the manager. IF you stay in this hotel, GOOD LUCK. My suggestion is spend $10 more per night and get a hotel that actually cared about its service.
