Beautiful place

We chose this place because they have a non-smoking casino. The property is beautiful and the staff were very nice. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We wished they had had black-jack tables under $10. We ate their seafood buffet on a friday night and were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. We would recommend staying at Harrah’s

I’VE STAYED AT ALL THE HOTELS IN LAUGHLIN AND I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE THE BEST. I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK.

Very satisfied with my stay at Harrah’s. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The beach along the river was super cool.

Stay was very enjoyable

I rarely give a complete satisfaction. The staff is friendly from the front desk to the maids. Unlike Atlantic City, the casino’s employees are all very friendly, and makes your stay a pleasant one. The only complaint I have is with the buffet. We went else where to eat breakfast & dinner. They are a bit more expensive.

Great family weekend away

We booked a deluxe room after calling the hotel and finding out that for a few extra dollars you can get a recently renovated room with a large, flat screen TV. The flat screen TV meant less bulky furniture in the room and more room to spread out. We really liked the layout of the hotel: everything to the left of the front desk is smoke-free and everything to the right is smoking. We were able to walk from our room to the pool and beach without having to subject ourselves to overwelming casino smoke. This was a great vacation for our family (we have a 2 year old and a 8 month old). The beach was a big hit. Its location meant it was in the shade in the afternoon and was out of the main current of the river. The sand was great and the hotel provided nice cabanas and lounge chairs, which some people pulled into the water. It is a great place to spend some time with the family.

There is a tour boat that leaves from the Riverside Hotel that goes up to the Dam and back down the river a bit. It’s a nice leisurely ride and not that expensive.

Smokers Punished!

Hotel overall was nice but if you’re a smoker be prepared. Your room will be the one with the worst view (if at all). I paid extra to get a river view. They put us on the 2nd floor. We could hardly see over this huge berm. When we complained we we’re told that’s the only floor with smoking rooms so we get what we get!!

We had the family room in the North tower for our two night stay in the hotel. The room had small view of the river, but it was dirty. It really smells. In fact, we wanted to change the room for the second night cos of the bad smell in the room. The person at the front desk sent house keeping to spray something in the room and promised that the smell will be gone. But the musty smell continued to bother us throughout the night. We are just glad to be out of there. It was disappointing :(

Insist on a change to a hygienic room especially if you have a child with you.

Economy Honeymoon

The hotel has some very nice, clean and affordable rooms (not luxurious, though)giving your overall stay a "comfy" feeling. Central tower river view is excellent and highly recommended. Beach access is perfect. There is plenty of room for bathing or sunbathing. There is a watercraft rental business on the lot to rent seadoos and a dock to take the water taxi to any other location. My wife and I had a fine time dining within the hotel as well. They had a great cafe and very fancy restaurant inside. A separate adult and kids pool was a plus. The only thing missing was a nearby convenience store.

Plan a day or two for tours and another day or two to visit the hotels. Go during the week (of course).

Workers were nice

Buffet is awesome , well worth the money. The door to our room didnt shut by itself and we found that out by ( luckily ) going back to the room ( we forgot something ) and noticed that the door wasnt shut all the way and the maid had been there, so we did not have them clean the room the rest of our stay. Other than that was a nice clean room and friendly staff.

Horrible Service

The Check in lady was extremely rude. I will never stay at this hotel again. There are plenty of other hotels in Laughlin to stay at, and they treat you with respect. Not here.

room smells, and tv programming sucks

for being such a big hotel, and all the money they get, it sure was an unpleasant stay. rooms smell, really small rooms, and t.v. programming was the worst. its such a big hotel, and they dont have enough elevators. even if you stay there they try to rip you off on their rentals, they’re more expensive than the other places. they dont help you to find other things to do in the area, all they want if for you to spend your mondy with them, even if you pay more. dont waste your time at this place.

it was amazing!

this hotel was truly exceptional. the food was good in the buffet and both pools where a blast. i liked the beach more though and the water taxi was a good way to get to the other casinos. at night there was not many options as far as food goes but the places that were open are clean and fast. it was a very relaxing place to be and vey accomedating.

Too much smoke!

The hotel was large, open, and nicely located on the river. The room was great in the North "non-smoking" tower, which was nice. However, the restaurants were all located on the south side of the hotel, and you had to walk through all of the horrific amounts of "death smoke" to get to them. Still a little too much catering to those with addictions. Also, the adult pool was packed in smoke! Nice hotel, but considerably uncomfortable for those of us that don’t smoke.

Poor Customer Service

When we checked in our room, there was a McDonald’s bag left in the room and it smelled like rotten eggs. We left for the evening to spend time in the sub-par casino. As we returned and went to sleep, we were awoken with gurgling sounds from the bathroom and more of the egg smell. The sink was spitting up waste. When we called the front desk the next morning to report the problem, they said they would not compensate us in any way for our trpouble because we didn’t call when it happened (2 am). After much complaining, they agreed to put us in a superior room for our trouble. We were told we could come back at any time the next day (even into the evening) and our room would be waiting. When we returned in the evening, we were informed they did not have our upgraded room because we didn’t check in a 3:00 pm (which we were not told to do). After more complaining, were were comped a buffet - small compensation for a hoorible experience.

BEST HOTEL IN LAUGHLIN

This is my second time in laughlin and I couldn’t regret not one thing about my stay. This hotel had a lot to offer for late night snacks at McDonalds and early morning starbucks or cinnabon. When I go back to laughlin I am going to stay at Harrah’s again.
