Cheap price but dirty
The room have bad smell, the bed was not comfortable and not clean, so many hairs on the bed sheet, the pillow has bad smell too. Bad smell in the toilet seems it has not been clean by the housekeeping. Overall, I cannot sleep well. I will not stay again.

overall a pretty good deal for Bristol
Pluses: 1) hearty English breakfast: hot-scrambled eggs, poached eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, beans, vegetarian sausage, mushrooms, toast; cold-oranges, grapefruit, prunes, melon, yogurt, cereals, dried fruit, nuts, pastries, milk, apple/orange/grapefruit juice. 2) indoor pool, workout room, sauna. 3) free in-room snacks: cookies, coffee, tea, bottled water, hot chocolate. 4) green: room key needed to turn on lights, which cuts down on wasted electricity. 5) convenient location: a few blocks from Queens Square. Airport Flyer bus stop right outside. Minuses: 1) exorbitant price for internet--one day costs about what one month in the States cost. 2) not so green: sign in bathroom says they wont replace towels that youve only used once if you leave them on the rack but they always replaced mine anyway.

Not overly impressed. Hotel has seen better years.
Staff generally good except in Dining/Breakfast Room - where they were dour and lifeless. Main advantage of this hotel is that it is downtown and close to many attractions and eateries. If choices are available - I would not stay here again.
