Very Nice!
Fine old hotel, in a laid back area away from the bustling crowds of Piazza San Marco, near Lido Beach, but only a comfortable water taxi ride to everyhting you need to do in Venice. Great music, dancing and entertainment on certain nights. Very nice breakfast and great local restaurants within walking distance, and reasonable too!
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Free high speed internet. Banking facilities (ATM) one block away. Buy x-day passes for the water taxi. You will use them often.

Excellent, clean place to stay in convenient location
The staff was very nice, the room was very clean. It smelled clean, too. It was in the middle of everything for shopping, gelato, the beach, for evening walks, etc. I will stay there again. (my standards for cleanliness are very high - I won’t rest well if sheets don’t smell clean or if there is grime on the floor - this was great!)

Don’t judge a book by its cover
This hotel is beautiful on the outside, but rooms are tiny and staff are not helpful. There was hardly room to walk around our queen bed and there was construction outside our window, which may have not been a big deal if the A/C were working and we could sleep with the window closed. The hotel was inconvenient to get to and was not very close to the beach either. I would not recommend this hotel.
