good affordable and clean
this hotel is a good affordable and clean hotel. we stayed on a weekend away from from home. we really enjoyed our trip to Arrington Vineyards about 5 miles away. did some shopping in downtown Franklin where a civil war reenactment was taking place. it was cool.

Comfort near the heart of Franklin for a great price.
This hotel is located near the Antebellum town of Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. The hotel was clean and well-maintained and the service was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. The only negative was the "continental" breakfast. The breakfast area was extremely small and the selection was quite limited with few kid friendly options. For example, the 2 cereal choices were corn flakes and raisin bran. They did offer two types of waffles, but since waffles were really the only appealing choice there was a significant wait to get them. They also had only one high chair and I counted 4 kids in the area who needed one. Another plus was the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Both very nice after a long day.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Be sure to check out The Factory at Franklin. This refurbished oven factory now houses dozens of arts and crafts vendors along with several restaurants and cafes as well as multiple meeting and entertainment halls. It’s a very stylish place to spend an afternoon. Beware, though, that while The Factory is open on Sundays, most of the vendors are not.

Would stay here again
The hotel, which used to be a Baymont, is a good place to stay. I have been here before, and I will return. The rooms are comfortable, and the hot tub is nice. I also like the convenience of the indoor pool, since you can use it whatever the weather.
