Pretty Awful...
The WIFI didnt work in either room. The on Demand videos were very fuzzy on the TV. The mattress on the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. We found hair in our food at the hotel restaurant. The staff was very unhelpful in helping us find things to do in the surrounding area. Overall, it was very unsatisfactory. This is coming from someone who has travelled all over the world and stayed in Ramadas before that were lovely. This one was not up to par.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
There was really NOTHING to do in Edmonton, Alberta. We were incredibly disappointed. For a city with a population of over 1 million, the attractions are very limited. Very little to do recreationally, and the West Edmonton Mall was the only entertainment we found. The Keg restaurant was an excellent dining experience, but very expensive.

dishonest
I reserved to go to Ramada in through Expedia. When I got to hotel, the clerk told me that the fee which I paid through Expedia was not paid. They asked for another credit card payment. I was about to pay twice for the room. I show them the receipt that was in computer, and they finally acknowledged. I was dissatisfied with clerk.

a little run down but okay place to stay
The room was big, and the bed comfortable. It was quiet, and the service was pleasant. The tub was a chipped and the room could use an updating. The bar downstairs was busy friday night and you could hear a few rowdies leaving at 2 am from the room, but other than that it was a quiet place to stay.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Kingsway mall is close to this hotel, and downtown is a 10 min drive to get to from here. The parking lot is spacious and safe.
