Decent and Clean
This was a typical Super 8. It was clean but run down. I hear it’s a big location for drug dealings. Although you could smell cigarette smoke and weed in the hallways the rooms didn’t smell.

Not impressed
The entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. We requested a non-smoking room, but we were told there weren’t any available. The room and everything in it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The clerk at the front desk was pleasant, but she charged our credit card for the room and we had already paid for it on Expedia. We noticed the charge when we got home and they did credit our account within a couple of days. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Posted: 13-Jul-09Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know your concerns during your recent stay with us. The reservation that was made was for smoking room, in that case any one including myself will smell smoke in a smoking room, yes it would have been our responsibility if the room was booked as a non-smoking room. In this case it was not. Some of this website lets you book the rooms despite property not having a non-smoking rooms. I would recommend that double check what you are getting before booking the room.

For a motel it wasn’t half bad
Always staying at hotels, not motels, I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was fine. It was fine for one night - I wouldn’t do any longer than that. Staff was very friendly but, accessories are at a minimum. Family stayed at a more expensive hotel close by and was not anymore impressed.
