no consideration
hotel was being renovated. I got no prior notice, no discounts for having to listen to construction past 10 pm., had no local phone service, and got drywall dust on clothes having to pass through the construction in the lobby. Not a happy camper.

Did not stay
Checked into the hotel, went to the room and walked right back out. Ended up staying across the street. Perhaps it is a personal thing but I felt that I was worthy of staying at a better place than this!
