Best price and nice
We were there for a horseshoe tournament. It was less expensive than the motels recommended by the tournament sponsors and just as convenient. Nice, clean, simple place to stay with basic but good continental breakfast.
Traveler's tip
It was easy to get into the Super 8 off the Interstate but if you were returning from Springfield via southbound Dirksen Parkway, be aware that there is no left turn into the Super 8. You have to make a right turn at the light then a U turn at the next intersection and a left turn back on to Dirksen Parkway heading north and a quick right into their parking lot. We feel the desk clerk should have warned us since we were returning at night.

It Is What It Is
Hotel was just as expected for a short stay when you spend a limited amount of time in the hotel. However, the missing headboard on one of the beds was not pleasing. The room was clean and everything else worked, including the air conditioner which was a must. Stay was OK, but not if you had to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
