A good stay for economoy minded travelers
The room was comfortable but suprisingly small. The first thing I noticed was that the microwave and the refrigerator(which was very small)was built or placed into the wall, which I thought was odd. The bed was typically your standard kingsize, not princess like to sleep on but it met my expectations. The pillows were hard not soft at all. I needed an iron and ironing board (left mine at home) so the front desk supplied both but charged a $10 fee to get these items. Which was given back once I returned them. I thought the room should have had both all ready in the room but it did not. The ironing board that was given was one of those small ones (travel size) and not a full regular sized one. Parking on the back side of the hotel was kind of tight. All in all it was a pleasent stay. The gentelman at the front was nice and when I checked in late was able to view my reservation and no questions were asked other then to see my id. A female hotel attendant was very nice in bringing the iron and ironing board to my room when it was requested.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you like buffet style restaraunts & have a tast for Chinese, I suggest trying New China Buffet. The food there was great & their buffet had more selections then most average style buffet’s of this type. My guest & I went on a Sat evening and it was packed, plus they charge a higer rate for your meal because crab legs are on the buffet during this time of evening. Other than that I would definitely recommend this restaraunt. Nice atmosphere & easy to find.(you can see it from Eisenhower Pkwy)
