Super 8 Motel Sedona

not impressed

motel is old,sink had a slow drain,toliet got plugged up on last day.would not stay there again.

Good for the price

Rooms were clean, except that the toilet had some calcium staining. Beds were comfortable, rooms quiet, felt safe. Checked in around midnight, clerk addressed my by name and was very pleasent.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There are so many beautiful nature places to explore, we were limited with time, and not knowing the area well, I think it would be worth it to take one of the jeep tours to get familiarized.

Good and inexpensive

This is my second stay here and I was pleased this time as well. The desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel is clean and generally well kept. It is no frills and not fancy, but is good for a budget traveler. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again if I would need to.

Good Value

Fabulous views from rooms with view. Service very nice and rooms looked very clean. Mysterious odor was present in halls and rooms though. I couldn’t decide if it was coming from the water or from the grey mops being used in the halls. My husband couldn’t smell it at all. Everything else was great!

Good value in for no-frills lodging in Sedona

I needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night in Sedona and this fit the bill perfectly. It’s very convenient, quiet, and our room had a great view. The room was clean and comfortable. The hallway carpet had seen better days, but that’s a small point. The people at the desk were awesome--very friendly and helpful. Sure, there are much nicer places to stay in Sedona. But if you need something convenient and functional that won’t break the bank, this is the place.

I would stay here again.

Great location !

We were really happy with the Sedona Super 8-the room was better than expected and the view from our mountainview room was grand! we were close enough to shopping but didn’t have to deal with the traffic and noise, and really close to the activities we really came for -Red Rock State Park and the cliff house and petroglyphs at Palotki.After a day spent hiking around, the pool was heaven!The breakfast was plenty for us and the staff was friendly and really helpful with directions and suggestions.We would definately stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

We found plenty to do for not too much money touring, hiking around the Red Rock State Park and at Palotki. We could have spent a week and not run out of things to do with out killing our travel budget.

Sedona Stay in 2009

The hotel was convenient. The staff was very cordial and helpful and friendly. I received some good recommendations for restaurants nearby.

Good stay

The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful and knew the Sedona area well. They were able to recommend good places to eat and stargaze. When I got stranded in Arizona another day due to a canceled flight, they got me right back in to the same room. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again my next trip.

Traveler's tip on dining

Casa Bonita (Sedona) had excellent Mexican food at a good price. Service was fast and efficient. Very interesting, bright decor. The locals told me they considered this authentic Mexican food. I’m not familiar enough to say whether this was or wasn’t authentic, but it was really, really good.

Very convenient location and beautiful, especially the rooms with a view.

Good spot

The hotel was clean, parking was adequate, and location was pretty good too. But you had to look for it, as it is set back from the road, but once you find it, your golden. The service was good, they offered free coffee and hot coco all day, which worked out really well, they also had a nice little porch area, were you could enjoy the environment..

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Check out the Indian Ruins.. if you have a 4 wheel drive, it gets better as you may take the trails through the mountain area..Its good fun..

A good, clean place to sleep

This hotel was on the major highway through town, yet it was quiet and had a spectacular view. This no-frills room had any ammenities you might need before going to bed and let’s face it, if you’re in Sedona, you shouldn’t be confining yourself to your room. It’s just too darned beautiful. A decent price for a quiet clean room.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Get the heck out of the hotel room and go hiking on one of the bazillion excellent trails around Sedona. This place is absolutely bulging with scenery and their building restrictions ensure that there is a gorgeous view, no matter where you are standing.

Low Cost, Clean, Friendly Service

Hotel was low cost for the area, good location, clean, the service at the desk was very friendly and the free breakfast was much better than I expected.It is a little old and starting to look run down and the bathrooms are small but was in line with what I expected for a budget hotel.

Its mediocre

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep its fine. Its just nothing special. The walls are super thin so I had to listen to the TV from the people next door ALL NIGHT...Other then that its okay, the rooms are big, if you have a laptop there is wireless internet access in the rooms. The room also had a minifridge and they let us check out at 12 instead of 11 am.

A great place to visit can’t wait to go back.

Sedona is a great place to visit and we really had a great time. Reasonable price Hotel.

Astonishing view, friendly staff

The staff of the hotel was extremly friendly. The room was very clean. The AC system was in good condition (just a little bit noisy). The bed was very confortable. All in all a very pleasant staying for a two star motel.

Better options in Sedona

Pleasant front desk staff but the hotel is subpar. Very thin walls and musky smell in corridors. Won’t go back.

Try the Sedona airport for food and sightseeing.

No Mas

Stayed in the Super 8 for two nights(December 28 and 29). Pros. Very helpful front desk Decent location. Cons. Loud and obnoxious cleaning crew. Paper thin walls Foul smelling corridors. Right across from day labor trailor park.

Fair Motel in Sedona

Obviously, it is not the best one in Sedona, however they got one of the best rate in town. Convenient location, decent continental breakfast provided.

Always dependable

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and for the price and location in Sedona it is always worth it. This is Super 8, so the value is in the price and what you get, the hotel is really nice for people with pets also. IF you want a dependable cant miss, this is it, you know what you get for your value. Always a dependable deal.

Need to upgrade the air conditioning

It is quite noisy. Other than that, everything is great.
