Good hotel near Galleria

Hotel was clean, rooms spacious with 2 big TVs. Small fitness center is fine. The pool is too small for laps. There was some exterior work going on so there was plastic over the outside windows. Parking is an extra $13.

See the water wall nearby. The mall is OK, but nothing unusual except for the ice skating.

Sheraton Shines!

Recently I took my 87 year old mother to visit family in Houston and we chose to stay at the Sheraton based on the website. My sister, mother, and I found the accomdations and atmosphere at this hotel to be expectional. Everyone working at the hotel was delightful and friendly. The service was outstanding and the food was wonderful at the restuarant. We throughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book this hotel again on a return trip to Houston. Thanks Sheraton at the Galleria for a wonderful family reunion vacation!

Great Location

Everything was great about the hotel, except I was hit with a $13 / day parking fee that I was not told about. I think parking should be part of the hotel price and not added on after the fact. It would have entered into my decision to choose that hotel had I known about the parking fee.

not impressed for area and price

I was not told Hotel would be under construction. The windows in my room were being scraped for paint at 7am...very noisy! The pool was filthy. Pictures made it look a lot nicer than it was!

Everyone was so nice!

From the minute we checked in to the minute we left everyone was so kind and considerate. They almost seemed disappointed when we didn’t need anything. It was just the icing on the cake of a great trip.

Good Value For Money

This all suite hotel is clean, the staff helpful and the overall experience above average. It’s not a luxury hotel but has many amenities that won’t leave you wanting. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is well insulated from nearby highway noise. The Galleria is within walking distance and the hotel restaurant is decent.

Very convenient and was roomy

Room was very comfortable for 3 adults and one baby. The main bed was able to shut off like a separate room with folding shuttered doors which made it good for the baby to sleep and we could watch tv and visit. The Crib was supplied free. The coffee service was limited to making one cup at a time.

The hotel is located on the access road of Loop 610. Very easy access to freeway and was near funeral we were attending. I liked the hotel and would return. The price was very competitive for a good upscale hotel. I would definitely recommend Expedia for saving money and the expertise you showed in the booking process. The Expedia employee even called the hotel to check on specific room information and reserved a crib for our granddaughter at no charge, which made the trip easier.

Houston’s Best for the Money

We stay at this hotel whenever we travel to Houston for events, etc. near the galleria area. This hotel is fabulous for the price. All rooms are suites but are priced like a standard room. Great value for your money, a best kep secret in Houston. Every room offers separate sitting area with desk/couch/TV/coffee table/coffee maker/small fridge. The sleeping area also has a TV and it can be closed off from the sitting area. We’ve been several times and will stay here anytime we need a hotel. Alot of room for the price of a small standard room at other hotels. And it’s very clean, with friendly staff.

Will think twice before going back

Reception: some personnel should be taught how to smile (but Monet is an exception. She was so accomodating) Omaha Resto: personnel are not approachable. Too bad, they are the only resto in the hotel Housekeeping: poor daily service. And they even forgot to clean my unit for two consecutive days! Concierge: great service!

parking rip off

Nice hotel. Room was good. Interneet access included. 12/night for parking plus houston hotel tax made the room rate unreasonable. Mostly, I object to not being told upfront that its 12/night for parking which would have made me select a different hotel based on total cost.

Consistently Good Experience

I’ve stayed in this hotel on several trips to Houston, and it has consistently offered an excellent experience at a reasonable price. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the service is friendly, and the location is excellent. My only complaint at all is that the upholstery on the small sofa in the room is very rough.

For excellent food on a cheap budget make sure to check out Amazon (South American cuisine) on Kirby near Bissonett, and Bellaire Broiler Burger (an old-school burger joint) on Bellaire near Bissonett.

Nice Hotel near Galleria

This was my second visit; the hotel is well situated near the Galleria and other shopping. The only negative of this trip was with the staff at reception/check in. The young girl was midway through checking me in when another guest walked up to the counter and began flirting with her. She stopped and began talking with him. I finally told the other guy to shut up and save his effort until after I was checked in. She was unprofessional and also did not give me the room I had requested on an upper floor facing the galleria. Otherwise, the hotel rooms are very nice, large, and quite clean. I would stay there again despite the young and immature staff.

Huge room but bad service

I would stay at this hotel again because of the location and the huge size of the rooms. Still, there is room for improvement. The first time my fiance and I recieved our keys we went up to our room and the key didn’t work. After 30 minutes of trying to figure things out, the front desk gave us a different room with new keys. My fiance and I were under a time crunch, so the front desk gave us free breakfast with an apology. The breakfast was okay since it was free, but do NOT go there as a paying guest! It is overpriced and the food is bland. Also, be forewarned that there is close, but expensive self-parking.

We stayed here for a weekend trip to Houston. Good location relative to shopping, but the concierge was not that helpful.

Very nice

Excellent place to stay. Great location near Galleria and highway. Very spacious room with large bathroom. Steakhouse in lobby was perfect end to the day. We will stay here again when we return to Houston.
