Fun First Time Visit
The Sheraton Roma has very good facilities overall. It hotel meets the general standards you would expect from a Sheraton complex here in the U.S. Be ware of the tour agency connected with the hotel. While some excursions were good, others left much to be desired. Try to contact other providers in Italy rather than rely soley on the concierge.
Make sure you exchange U.S. dollars for Euros BEFORE you leave the states! If you run out, use your credit card!

great servoce and just a great hotel
we were very happy with our rooms and the service was great. the restaurant was very good, the help was very helpful. all the services we needed were available.

Good Hotel but not good enough.
Pros: The location is not the best but the shuttle service is convenience. Cons: The breakfast, very disappointed with the breakfast, bad quality, bad variety. The hotel is located in one of the best country for food, is not acceptable that quality for food. Others complains do not matter because I used the hotel for only stay at nigth, but the breakfast was very important to me.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
At the Vatican City, please walk a couple of blocks and you can find a full italian menu (drink, pasta and coffe or ice cream) for 10 euros. Many people try to eat or have a drink close to the vatican, is expensive, two blocks away.... sheap...
