Not luxurious, but tries harder than average motel
Good value, clean, right near U. of Maryland and stores, Applebees. Perfect for short stay with kids. Indoor pool and "fundome" has pool table, putting "green," and shuffle board. Breakfast good for a Continental breakfast, fresh made waffles and hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc. Bed uncomfortable, some rooms have chlorine smell from pool, but you can get room on street. Bathroom is mixed - nice that sink is outside tub and toilet room, marble in tub and sink, but shower head very low, perfect for 8-year-olds! They’re generous with towels and pillows.

Take Route 1 straight into D.C. for site seeing, dining. About 30 minutes away from Dupont Circle, Capital.

Not impressed!
The appearence of the hotel was the best part and the comfort of the beds. But the telephone did not work, they did not bring us a new one. The coffeepot did not work, they did not bring us a new one. The worst part the shower...the drain plug would not stay open, you would have to hold the lever down to drain out the tub, if I wanted to take a bath I would not have turned on the shower!
