Responsive staaff
We had a problem in the parking garage. The sign on the wall says that the door will close in 20 seconds automatically if you do not proceed thru the gate quickly enough it will damage your car. Due to haste the car made contact with the concrete wall.

Great location, good hotel
The location was the best part, right on the river across from a small park, easywalking distance to nearly everything. The room was fine - nothing elaborate, but definately clean and well maintained. I’d stay there again.

Do not expect Much
Hotel was more or less ok, the hardwood in the pictures is dated both in lobby and in room. I had a "superior" room which included a couch, it would have been tough to have a normal room size. TV was LCD sony, which was good, high speed internet worked well, stay away from the restaurant for dinner, really disappointing ( all kinds of restaurants within walking), breakfast is fine. The location is best part as it is right in city center on the river. For you work out types you can buy a 7 euro pass to a really good health club two long blocks away called "Go Go" (no it is not a disco). My rate was very "high" for for this hotel, but there was a medical convention in Tampere and I did not have much choice.
Traveler's tip on dining
Just do not eat dinner here, go somewhere close by as there are many restaurants, but do not ask the hotel desk as they sent me to a chain restaurant calle Bella Roma, so be careful, you can do much better for food, but need to check it out.
