Good value for money
Great view over looking San Jose. Up town and trendy area of San Jose. Expensive but nice resturant.

Tranquility Be Thy Name
Soft colors mixed with stone. A balcony overlooking greenery with gentle breezes. Birds singing a languid pool. Good food with a sunset at times and service that made you feel like a "very special guest". As I said, tranquility to rest up relaxed and ready to go home. Thank you one and all. I am so glad my friends the Tomlinsons, invited me along.
Traveler's tip on dining
Besides dining at the Alta; you need to try the Monastera(sp?) up the beautiful mountain. Fabulous food, service, and a view to die for!!

Thanksgiving in Costa Rica!!!
This hotel was a very nice place to stay in Costa Rica for a first time traveler. The view from the rooms is amazing!! The staff service excellent.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
While the food at the hotel’s restaurant is very good, it can be very costly by the end of your stay. There is a local restaurant about 3 minutes walk from the hotel which is very inexpensive and the food is plenty and very good.
