Alright I guess
definelty could have been better but they’re well was really cute!

the palce is ok but refreshing the bathrooms and clean the windows would improve the satisfaction of patrons.

Great Deal
Clean, roomy facilities. This hotel was the best deal in town. Full size pool and fitness center available. Excellent staff.

Hotel was just okay
Hotel staff was nice. The hotel is older but had character. Cleaniness " okay" but I found and old strawberry on the floor.

Sarnia weekend
Simple hotel near the waterfront in Sarnia, perfect for the weekend stay. Well priced, nice pool, gym and sauna. Not a modern hotel feel, but a nice small town stay.

Mixed Bag.
The Drawbridge has a great location for the downtown Sarnia area. Some rooms have a great view of the St. Clair river. Maid service is reliable. The price was low. This is an older hotel which has apparently been renovated at some time in the past, and now seems a bit run down. I had no refrigerator. The air conditioner in one room was not cooling the room. This was during a heat wave. I was moved to a room with the view I wanted and functioning A/C. The hotel did not have an included breakfast. They did mention a nearby restaurant with a cheap breakfast. There is a restaurant and pub in the hotel, but I didn’t eat at the restaurant. They had no self-service laundry, but did have bags for getting items washed and presumably, pressed. There is a computer with internet access just off the lobby. I don’t know if they had Wi-Fi or not. Local phone calls are free. They put a C$100.0 deposit on a credit card when I checked in. The slip was torn up when I checked out. There was some confusion on the part of the desk clerk about charges, probably because of the move to a room with functional A/C. The matter was cleared up. That’s all I can think of. I would conditionally recommend the Drawbridge as a hotel to consider when visiting Sarnia. I said "Yes" above, as the Drawbridge may suit many just fine, but I would personally consider other hotels in Sarnia before using the Drawbridge again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Ups and Downs Pub nearby on Front St. had great music Friday and Saturday nights. River tours depart from a dock within an easy walk from the hotel.
