What to expect: Part of the hotel-owned group, Lucien Barriere (which also owns the adjacent Majestic Barriere), this modern hotel touts a prime location on the French Riviera. Animated by celebrities during the Festival de Cannes, the hotel is also busy with conferences during the autumn and winter months. Families and holiday-makers also frequent the establishment during the summer.
Amenity highlights: A large private sandy beach is a two-minute walk away along La Croisette. There is also a restaurant where Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine is served for lunch in the summer. Meanwhile, the hotel bar serves a wide range of cocktails and the '38 The Restaurant' offers a menu of world cuisine.
Insider tip: Guests are provided with the Evasion pass. For adults, this consists in an electronic pass, which is a ticket to complimentary drinks and discounts for local attractions. Children receive a Kid’s Evasion pass that includes toiletries, puzzle books, and complimentary passes to local attractions.
