Central Copenhagen location
The hotel was located near Tivoli and close to the main walkway to the old city center. The hotel is a little dated, but I had no problems with my stay . The desk staff at the hotel were very nice during my check in and check out processes. The room was fairly large, and the bathroom was also good sized. A hotel magazine stated that the hotel would be remodeled in 2010, and would include the updating of all guest rooms. The breakfast buffet was decent and, given the price of meals in Copenhagen, was a good value. Overall, I had no complaints with the hotel and it’s location was fine for sightseeing and walking around the city.
Definitely take the canal tour. The price was 60 kroners, or about $12.00 U.S. The tour was very intersting and well worth the price.

Does what it says on the label
A good hotel, value for money. Is easy to find and get to/from the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. Only confusion is some call this the First Kong and some the Kong Frederick, they are the same.

very impressed
We had a very pleasant stay at the first hotel kong Frederick. The hotel is close to shopping areas, tourist buses, restaurants, to the Tivoli and museums,also walking distance to the harbor. The included breakfast wash very good, also there is free bottled water,soda and beer for two in our room. Our room was clean and comfortable.
