Close to McLennan
Staff was great- My room was quiet and clean, this is my hotel of choice when I visit MCC in Waco.

Good buy for the money
Hotel shows some wear but many of the rooms are under renovation right now and there is a notice in the lobby saying same.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
When you book, try and get one of the newly renovated rooms. I will next time.

Prefer not to stay at this hotel again
The hotel had easy access from IH-35. The staff were very courteous and the room was comfortable (ac worked, fairly roomy, comfortable bed) however, there were several reasons I wouldn’t stay again. 1) Not really clean - appeared to be clean, but noticed it was just a cover up cleaning job. 2) Carpet was crunchy - like the room had been flooded but it was very dark carpet so we couldn’t see just how bad the damage was. 3)There were crickets in the rooms and hallways 4)There was a spotlight out our window and the curtains didn’t block out the light 5) My 4 yr old son slept on the sofa bed and he complained of it being poked by things - after looking the mattress was a box spring so I had to put blankets under the sheets for him to sleep on - it was very uncomfortable.
