great location

The hotel is well used and could use some updating. Service was good and the staff was very accomidating. The weather was unusually warm during our visit and air conditioning would have been a real plus. The location is an A++ for access to the Roman Baths, shopping and sightseeing. Be prepared to pay about thirty dollars for overnight parking.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Try Mirmiras Greek resturant on the river front. It was wonderful.

Centrally located

This hotel is central to the beautiful sights of downtown Bath and an easy walk from the train station. The view of the river from our room was wonderful, too. It is rather "ordinary" compared to some of the older, more colorful hotels in Bath, but the family-size accomodation made it a good choice for us. The breakfast buffet was terrific!

Very comfortable and great location

Only four blocks to Abbey Square. If you like a big breakfast, the hotel’s breakfast buffet was a good bargain. The room was clean and comfortable. Service was good.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The Iguana Mexican Restaurant, near the Royal Theater was very good. There are many great attractions: the Roman Baths museum, the ghost tour, and the free guided walking tour were all very good. If you have an extra full day, the Mad Max tour to Stonehenge, Avebury, and the Cotswolds is a great tour. The National Express from Heathrow was comfortable and very inexpensive. The national express station is a fifteen minute walk to the Hilton. A taxi was only 3.50 pounds.
