Extremely satisfied
This hotel was a great choice. The decor was great and the personnel were very professional in all matters. The location in the middle of Salzburg, and access to a number of acceptable dining locations was ideal. The cost was certainly reasonable for the quality provided.
Take one of the tours offered - e.g., that which includes Mozart’s home/museum and general area sightseeing.

Comfortable place to stay
A comfortable place to stay, no complaints but nothing extra-ordinary either. Easy to find (make sure you walk to the right Mercure, there are 2) and walking distance to everything you’d want to do in Salzburg.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
hotel is easy walking distance from the train station. Do not pay for public transport in Salzburg unless you’re going to the untersburg.
