Location to Downtown
Since we had never been to Charleston and looking for a hotel I picked this hotel not realizing a lot of hotels have "Downtown" in their name. I guess I wanted it all with "downtown / riverview" and a suite. My husband was unable to walk distance due to upcoming knee replacement. We did not rent a car; therfore, this location was not a good choice for us. As we planned to be in Charleston for the week, we moved to an actual downtown location. The hotel was very understanding and accommodating with our request to move. The hotel was very clean, we had a extremely nice suite with full kitchen. We wish we could have taken the suite with us in our move. I did learn a valuable lession; to ensure the actual location is a top priority. This is a beautiful hotel; however, is not really close to anything.

Girlfriend Reunion
College roommates, on our 33rd year reunion, loved the Residence Inn by Marriott Riverview. The suite, a two bedroom suite with kitchen was perfect! The staff was helpful with directions and tips about Chaleston. A beautiful breakfast bar was set each morning. This was a great was to start the day. Two computers were in a lobby area where we could print our airline tickets. You could also check email. The pool area was set with chairs and the water clean and refreshing. We would go back again! The Residence Inn by Marriott Riverview was wonderful.

Excellent Place to stay
Good location very clean, staff very helpful rooms were well equipped ie stove, microwave, full refridgerator. would stay there again. Pool was very nice, water in hot tub could have been hotter but still very nice.
