Pre-Cruise Stay at Fortune House
I had only one issue with the reservation. While the room was clean, the shower didnt work well. My only other complaint was, when we booked the hotel, our reservation stated that breakfast for 2 was included. When we went down for breakfast, we were told that we had to pay for breakfast. I had to go online to my reservation and email a copy to the desk clerk. Their business center gives no access to a printer and some of the computers have connectivity issues. There are no free standing restaurants in walking distance this hotel. You must either eat in their dining room or you should have a car (valet parking $20 per car per day). You are located in a primarily business area which closes on weekends and after 5 pm during the week. Be prepared to have a $100 hold placed on your credit card. I tried to pay cash but was told if I used cash I would have to give them a $250 deposit.

2nd stay here...great place!
The ONLY complaint I have is the fact that the valet guys are often understaffed, so at times, it may take a few minutes to get your vehicle to you. Other than that, its a great place to stay. Be sure to spend the extra money and get the Bay View suite. You wont regret it. I have come to this place 2 years in a row and always have a great stay. I love the place. Also, be sure to get to the breakfast buffet early. They never run out, but if you wait too long, you may not get the "best" pancakes..lol...enjoy
Go to Villa Habana. Its a small Cuban restaurant, not too far from this hotel. Great GREAT place! Have the Carna Asada al Vino and black beans and rice...you wont regret it!
