Good option close to Hofstra
We were very pleased with the room and other services available at La Quinta. It was just an overnight stay, but we will definitely consider going back.

Satisfactory - functional - clean
The amenities are average. It’s clean, everything seemed to function as expected. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The bar...if you can really call it a bar - more like a moderately stocked liquor cabinet with a bored (yawning) bartender...shares space with the breakfast room. The breakfast buffet was fairly standard - make your own waffles, out of the box pastries, cereal, OJ from concentrate. USA Today outside the door, noisy tv playing through breakfast. The comforter in my room was lumpy, and I only got shampoo & soap- no conditioner or lotion to be found. Functional. Not a vacation destination.

Nice Hotel
Everything was great except the air conditioner was a little noisy (raddle).

Try Walk Street restaurant in downtown Garden City, it is good.
