Great hotel, Great Price, Convenient Location
Stayed here while attending a conference in Essen. Convenient driving distance to Messe Essen. Nice, clean, simple rooms with upgrades available for coffee makers, etc. Great breakfast and very reasonable dinners in the restaurant. Would totally stay there next time I am in the area!

Modern Hotel in quiet, green neighborhood
This hotel has very easy access to the Autobahn, free parking area and close-by public transportation. Shopping is just across the street with a supermarket leading to the town center pedestrian area. The restaurant is very good. Highly recommended for the traveler. I have stayed there many times.

Good for business - 3rd stay
This hotel is in a quiet area very close to a mall and town center and just blocks off the A40. Parking is good and there is a good restaurant and bar. The rooms are efficient with beds and desk but no comfortable arm chair in the basic rooms. Internet access is very expensive, as is common in Europe - over $23/day for unlimited use. The staff are friendly. I certainly plan to continue staying here.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Across the main street is a Pennymarkt which has good stores and through it one gets to a town center with walking streets.
