Not what I expected
I rented from this hotel because of it’s location and rates but was displeased with it’s quality. The room was filthy! Everything was dusty. Microwave was dirty. Windows were rusted and moldy. There is only one curtain, so you cannot open them during they day without people being able to see from the outside. Underneath the bed it looked as if it had never been cleaned. Overall, poor, poor facilities. More of a 1 star motel than a 3 star hotel.

Howard Johnson
The customer service of the receptionist was overall specular. The owners however, where extremely mean and ill mannered. If it wasn’t for this hotels location, we would consider staying somewhere else. The breakfast they offer, lacks, what other hotels (that charge cheaper) have have in abundance. They need more of a variety of food to choose from. Other then that, our stay was good.

Not any worse than other hotels in the area
We have stayed at this hotel and others on Pensacola Blvd at this price. This time, there was no ice anywhere at the hotel. There was a friendly roach hanging out in the shower. We were in town for a funeral, but we usually come to Pensacola once a year. It is not any worse than other hotels. It is convenient to a movie theater and right next door to a Waffle House.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We usually are not in the room except to sleep and shower, so the price is our primary concern.
