Although the hotel bar with loud heavy metal music seemed a little seedy, everything else about my stay was satisfactory. Not fancy, but very adequate for the price, at a convenient location of I-70 east of Columbus.

Not bad for a cheap Columbus hotel.
This hotel is only about a 10 minute drive (if that) from downtown Columbus. It was very clean, a little outdated, but who really cares. The only problem with the room I found was that the window didnt quite close all the way. Other than that, we were very pleased with it. Check in was pretty fast (took maybe 4 minutes) and check out (since we booked with expedia) took about 5 seconds for us to drop off the room keys and the lady said thats all she needed from us. Plenty of fast food right there on the main road, with some inexpensive sit down restraunts as well. And some shopping right there as well if you forgot to bring a swimsuit or some flip flops or something. And best of all, I am a smoker (my guest was not) and we had a smoking room, and neither of us could tell it was a smoking room. No musty smell of smoke or any odors at all. Over all for such an inexpensive room, I would give this hotel like a 4.8 out of 5.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We went to the Columbus Museum of Art. And we also checked out "The Book Loft" which is that big independent book store in the German village. So I mean there are lots of things to do in and around the city.

Cheap and Comfortable
Room was clean, but had an odd odor to it. The pool is well maintained. You get what you paid for in this hotel. Cheap and convenient. The area the hotel was in seemed a little seedy.
