Great downtown hotel
We very much enjoyed our stay. Room small, but to be expected in the city. Fun hotel bar, delicious food, and very helpful/responsive staff. The location is easy and convenient for subways and cabs if needed. My only complaint is that it is loud. We were on the 6th floor and still could hear the music from the lobby bar well into the night. They do have noise machines to help but it is still loud. Otherwise, loved it!

Hip and Comfortable
Great choice for us! cool and funky but clean and user-friendly. very comfortable beds, nice decor, large-ish room, great white-sound system, nice/quiet/safe location thats close to lots of great stuff and metro line.
Traveler's tip on nightlife

Could be better, but had some nice points.
Could have been better decorated and more appealing as far as the colors go, both in the room and in the hallways, restaurant food could have been a little better, but the shrimp and avocado sandwich was pretty good though! The robe was very comfy, would have purchased it if it would have costed less. There is a heavily stocked minibar with lots of drinks and snacks, but its not free. There was a nice folder with pencils and notepads that was free with the hotels name on it. Couldnt get the DVD player to work, because it wasnt evident how to change the channel or input. Showerhead didnt have a lot of output, which should be adjusted. Some noise outside on the side I was located came from taxis and other vehicles late at night, which made it a little hard to sleep at times. Staff, especially doormen, were pretty friendly and helpful with directions and advice on places to go. Didnt have a huge sign with the hotels name, but it was on the clock out front, which was pretty cool! Several celebrities lived nearby, and there were several bands staying at the hotel, which made for a nice encounter for autographs and pictures late one night! Overall, a pretty neat experience...dogs are very welcome, too...but would definitely have liked to have payed several hundred dollars less for my stay.
